Kumari Mridula Kakde, daughter of Sri Vijay Kakde and Smt. Saritha Kakde, began her Bharatnatyam journey at the age of 7 under the Guru Dr. Vidushi P. Manasa at Manojna Nrithya Kala Academy. She is currently pursuing her BCom- professional at Mount Carmel College, Autonomous. Bangalore. She has successfully cleared her Junior, Senior and Pre- Vidwath examinations conducted by the Karnataka State Board, as well as Prarambhik, Praveshika Pratham, Praveshika Poorna, Madhyama Pratham, Madhyama Poorna, Visharad Pratham, Visharad Poorna and Alankar Pratham levels conducted by Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya., demonstrating her proficiency in Bharatanatyam.
Mridula Kakde has performed at prestigious events like Mysuru Dasara Festivals in Mysore palace, Jagan Mohan Palace and Srirangapatna, Natyanjali in Chidambaram, Heritage fest in ISKCON, Hampi Utsav, National Classical Dance Festival in Guruvayur, Adavanallan Festival in Melkote, Dasami Festival at Odukattur Matt, and performing at several temples during the Navaratri festivals, as well as in National Media conference at Brahma Kumaris, Mt.Abu and International Conference in ICInPro, Bangalore. She has participated in several workshops to further enhance her skill.
In addition to her dance studies, Mridula has always an active member of her school’s and college’s dance group and is involved in a range of dance styles, including Indian folk, western and has performed in the Malhar event in Mount Carmel College where she was awarded 1st price in solo competition for Bharatanatyam. Mridula has deep passion for social welfare and has contributed in GCCI’s Global Cancer concern programme, has been a member of a CMCA (spark change) Club and she has been part of her school band which participated on Republic Day parade.

Mridula is an extremely passionate dancer! Her stage presence is really nice. The way she follows the thala accurately while conveying all the emotions through her vivid expressions, intricate hand mudras, and precise steps is really mesmerizing and awe inspiring. Seeing her dance on the stage was just indescribable, it left me speechless
She is very active and her eyes are very bright by doing dance,her dance is excellent for her age,I really appreciated her for dance,already she got All India level medal,she is having bright future ,I am also waiting for huge programs from her
